VARTA SICH — Mobile C-UAS Complex (FPV Carrier + 2-Barrel Interceptor)

NATO Stock Number (NSN): 1550-61-018-6396

VARTA Sich is a ready-to-deploy anti-drone complex: a rugged 16” FPV UAV carrier paired with a 2-barrel kinetic interceptor (DRONEHUNTER VARTA). Built for close-in FPV/ISR drone defeat, it delivers mobile SHORAD performance and a low cost-per-kill in urban clutter, forest edges, and contested RF. Optional DOZOR AI adds on-board detection, target highlighting, and auto-track to shorten time-to-shot.

Who it’s for & why

  • Frontline units protecting positions and convoys.

  • Perimeter security around critical infrastructure.

  • Teams seeking an all-in-one kinetic C-UAS: interceptor + carrier, ready to integrate and deploy.

How it works

The FPV carrier rapidly brings the interceptor onto the threat axis. The operator uses a high-sensitivity analog day/night/dusk camera (optional thermal imager). Per unit SOP, the crew executes detect/guide → kinetic defeat. The breech-loaded, recoilless, 2-barrel head with SYLA4 electronic initiation enables fast follow-up shots. Effective defeat range: 5–30 m.

Tactics

  • Perimeter/positions: cap patrols; launch → defeat → RTB cycles.

  • Convoy cover: counter low-altitude FPVs in broken terrain.

  • Mixed packages (EW + observers): use kinetic interception when jamming alone is insufficient.

  • Fire modes: staggered shots (stop → finish) or salvo on demand.
